General Assembly

The General Assembly of the ordinary members is the highest authority of the Association. It controls the Association and appoints and controls its Management.

See the By-laws, 7 and Rules, 4.

According to clause 8.1 of the Ecma By-laws, the President shall each year call at least two ordinary General Assemblies. In 2016, the first General Assembly was held on 14-15 June in Montreux (Switzerland) and the second was held on 7-8 December in Santa Clara (USA). In 2017, the first one was held on 27-28 June in Montreux (Switzerland) and the second one was held on 6-7 December in Tokyo (Japan). In 2018, the first one will be held on 27-28 June in Geneva (Switzerland) and the second one on 5-6 December in the USA.
